Fall Reading 2026

Fall is known as the biggest season of the year for books. The titles that release during this latter part of the year often become holiday gifts, and many are blockbusters. We spotlighted 12 of these books in our Fall Reading Contests and Feature. While our series of 24-hour giveaways have ended, we encourage you to take a look at our featured titles, which we know people will be talking about this fall and beyond.

Week of October 12, 2026

Paperback releases for the week of October 12th include ALL THE LITTLE HOUSES, a deliciously wicked thriller from May Cobb about mean girls, mean moms, and the delicious secrets inside all the little houses; FUTURE BOY, a poignant, heartfelt and funny memoir about how, in 1985, Michael J. Fox brought to life two iconic roles simultaneously --- Alex P. Keaton in "Family Ties" and Marty McFly in Back to the Future; Marisa Meltzer's IT GIRL, the first comprehensive biography of Jane Birkin --- actress, singer and legendary style icon --- and her profound cultural impact; NEAR FLESH, a previously unpublished collection of stories from Katherine Dunn about motherhood, violence and desire; and the paperback original THE BLUFF by Wade Rouse, a humorous and sharply observant look at a family teetering on the edge of merry mayhem.
