Eudora Welty: Stories, Essays and Memoir

This new Library of America collection is the first new series the
publisher is issuing devoted to a living writer's literary
career.  Edited by Richard Ford and Welty scholar,
Michael Kreyling, these books are must-haves for any Welty devotee.

EUDORA WELTY: STORIES, ESSAYS, AND MEMOIR presents all of her
collected short stories.  Her gift as a short story
writer and chronicler of life in the South evolves through The Wide
Net and The Golden Apple (two of the collections included here).
The volume concludes with two stories from the 1960's, a selection
of her essays, and her wonderful memoir, ONE WRITER'S BEGINNINGS,
which includes photographs from her childhood and adult life.
