In this newsletter, you will find books releasing the weeks of June 15th and June 22nd that we think will be of interest to Bookreporter.com readers, along with Bonus News, where we call out a contest, feature or review that we want to let you know about so you have it on your radar.

This week, we are calling attention to our Favorite Monthly Lists & Picks feature for June, which includes Indie Next, LibraryReads, Oprah's Book Club, the Barnes & Noble Book Club, the Reese Witherspoon x Hello Sunshine Book Club, the Jenna Bush Hager "Read with Jenna" Today Show Book Club, the "Good Morning America" Book Club, and more.

Also, we have a different kind of "Bookreporter Talks To" interview to tell you about. Instead of interviewing an author, Carol was joined by two Goodreads staffers: Suzanne Skyvara, their Vice President of Marketing & Editorial, and Danny Feekes, their Managing Editor. As one of the most useful resources for book lovers, Goodreads has a big hand in sharing great and exciting new reads. Suzanne and Danny talked about a number of books that have just come out, or will be out soon, along with titles that are trending with Goodreads members. Click here to watch the video and here to listen to the podcast.

Finally, we share with you a number of upcoming online author events that you may want to have on your radar. We are curious to know if you have been attending these kinds of events. Weigh in by answering our latest poll here!

This Bookreporter.com Special Newsletter spotlights a book that we think is a great summer reading selection. Read more about it, and enter our Summer Reading Contest by Wednesday, June 17th at 11:59am ET for a chance to win one of five copies of TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE by Meg Mitchell Moore, which is now available and will be a Bookreporter.com Bets On pick. Please note that each contest is only open for 24 hours, so you will need to act quickly!

One of the joys of this time of year is the garden. It’s early days, and everything is at peak. The weeds have not taken over, the colors are still vibrant, and the leaves are still green. It’s not too hot, and it’s not too cool. It’s the time you want to bottle up and remember vividly. Above are two flowers that I love: the passion flower is new to the container garden this year, while the streptocarpus ladyslippers are something that we have planted for the last three years. This year, I may try to bring the latter indoors for winter.
