A book on Islamic calligraphy that I saw at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco several years ago. It was not just nice pictures (although there were plenty of exquisite ones), but it showed how to make the letters in the various styles. I could have gotten it for $40 instead of its regular $60 price, and I have regretted it ever since --- I bought something else. No regret like the one of a book unpurchased!
