Hmm...John Grisham for sure. He is a terrific storyteller, his voice just oozes with Southern charm, and let's face it, he's sexy! Also, if she were living, it would be fascinating to hear Margaret Mitchell explain how she went about writing GONE WITH THE WIND, of course, how she felt her characters ultimately fared. Stephen King, whether you like the genre or not, is a terrific storyteller. He's one of the few who have made me afraid to turn out the lights. And hey, let's invite Oprah also (who would probably be way too busy to come) because her insights on life and living are right on target.

Lisa Erdmier
Without a doubt, Sarah Dessen! Anyone who has ever been a teenager, who lives with a teenager, or who IS a teenager, should start at the beginning and read every one of her books. She understands teenage life so unbelievably well and passes it along to us like a gift. I can't wait for her next book!
