What would you like to see added to Bookreporter.com?

Sandra Hughes
More reviews on new fiction.

Sheila
I love your website and newsletter. But I'd love to see you review fewer mysteries and more literary fiction.

Marlene Rosen
More foreign authors, basically to view different style of writing and perception of life in other countries.

Carlita Beltz
Sharing ideas on different ways to keep track of the books you have read and the authors you want to remember.

Gerry
More literary fiction and biographies. I'm disappointed that, more and more, the reviewers seem to focus almost exclusively on mysteries and thrillers. I enjoy those, but would like to see more variety in genre selection.

Eileen Stone
Hi,
I was disappointed when you all did not continue discussing audio books.

I would like to see you add, coming soon, audio books.
Also, I would love to read an evaluation or article on the audio book services that are available, such as the Recorded Books Plan.

Shirley Swaenepoel
In my opinion Bookreporter.com, is perfect just the way it is. I look forward to receiving the newsletter and I also go to the web site between mailings. Congratulations on 10 years of keeping us up to date on all the latest and greatest books.

Rita Carter
I do miss my friends from Bookaccino, although I imagine it's hard to keep a hosted website up and running. Actually, everytime I think you have the newsletter "perfect," you manage to perfect perfection! Keep up the good work!

Patty Blackwell
I cannot think of anything I would add/change. I love to see in my mailbox that I have e-mail from Bookreporter.com --- it makes my day. I forwarded to my sister the 2nd issue, as she loves books as I do and I knew she'd love the site. Outstanding!

Anne K.
Less emphasis on Romance, Mystery and Chick Lit books.

Reviews of more serious books, including biographies and historical books, both fiction and nonfiction.

CA
Information on books to be published in the next few months.

Marie Casale
Gosh, I think you have got it down pretty pat! I cannot think of anything!

Linda Estrin
Better, more worthwhile writers --- some artists, not hacks.

Rosemary Simm
Great classics are read in school literature classes, but soon abandoned as adults read the newer books. I would love to see a monthly review of a great classic novel.

Lee Hamner
This isn't particularly for Bookreporter.com, but does affect your e-mail. Do you have any influence with AOL to get rid of the huge ad that runs at the bottom of the newsletter? It takes so much room that we have to scroll even more to read anything. Thanks.

Denise Crawford
I would like for you to give away MORE advance copies of books for real readers (not the professional critics --- sorry) to comment on.

Judy Dils
I love lists; the top 5 books 10 years ago would be fun to see.

Kathy Vieira
I would like to see a section on all televised book groups (ex: Oprah) and a list of what they are reading.

Carolyn Bickoff
I'd like to see which books are also available as cds.

Dorothy Distefano
More opportunities to win books... or more advance reading copies offered.

Shelley n Kennedy
I am so glad that you asked! I just read two great books by author Jeff Lindsay, DARKLY DREAMING DEXTER and DEEPLY DEVOTED DEXTER, which as you may or may not know, are the basis for Showtime's newest series, "Dexter." I just finished literally plowing my way through them both and I LOVED them!! You MUST recommend them to your entire list of readers, they will get such a kick out of them.

Joan
I would like to see more contests that Canadians can participate in.

Eileen Quinn Knight
I would like to see what books the book clubs are reading. This would be both fiction and non-fiction. It is amazing how many good books are out there for all of us to fall into! I love the recommendations people make. Thanks for all you are and do!

Jay Wasson
Maybe a section for what is on the bestseller list.

Rose Birchall
More contests

Sharon Johnson
I'd like to see more diversity in the authors whose books are selected for review. I'd like to see Bookreporter.com review books written by authors of many different ethnicities.

Judy Ross
I would love it if this website had a search engine that would take any author's name and give a list of all the books they wrote, and when their next one is due out. Then, (hey, it's my fantasy) the day before it arrives at the major bookstores, I get an e-mail about it. I have quite a few authors that I read religiously, but I never know when that next book will be on the shelves for sale.

Meg Seff
I do not like mysteries/thrillers, so I would appreciate more reviews of different books and genres. It seems that most of the time, you are mostly centered on mysteries.

Vivian Watts
I would like links added for different types of new books coming out; for example, general fiction, suspense, thriller, medical thriller, etc.

D McLemore
Reviews of audio books! About the readers, awards, etc.

Kayce Crews
I think it is perfect now.

Crystal Johnston
More contests --- maybe some puzzle solutions added.

Dena
More giveaways or contests. Polls are fun too, maybe you could add another one.

Sharon
I would appreciate having a "search" box where I could enter a book title or an author's name to read comments by readers regarding that book or author, as well as any reviews.

Barbara S. Moore
I love your new format, and for myself, I hope you leave it just the way it is. As a lover of books, you are the beat. I look forward to your emails. Thank you so much.

Kathy
More information about books that are going to be published in future months. Even just the title and author's name would be nice.

Cindy Hennes
I would like to see the top-selling authors telling us what they are reading or books they have liked --- their choices for must reads!

Arianna Hawkins
More science fiction and fantasy!!!!!!!!

Jan Baybusky
I am always disappointed at how few English mystery writers are included in Bookreporter. I really don't read many American authors --- they don't write nearly as well, except for Martha Grimes and Elizabeth George.

Linda Marquis
A section devoted exclusively to Trade Paperbacks (they are much easier for me to read and not as expensive as Hardcover).

Thanks for asking,
L. Marquis

TereseRose
More coverage of nonfiction works.
