Biography

Paul Potts

Paul Potts was the first winner of Britain's Got Talent back in 2007. Since winning the competition, Paul has found worldwide success with his albums, live shows, tours and charity work and has been constantly travelling the globe; six years later, his feet are yet to touch the ground.

Due to Paul's commitment and hard work, he has become one of the most travelled international stars and has performed more live shows than any other contestant of this type of programme.

Since winning BGT, Paul has successfully released three studio albums; "One Chance", "Passione" and "Cinema Paradiso" (ex-UK). Recent activity has seen Paul visit territories such as Germany, Austria, Iceland, Poland, Switzerland, Korea, China, Japan and the Middle East; he is still very much in demand around the world!

In recognition of Potts meteoric "rags to riches" rise to fame, his life story has been turned in to a movie, also titled "One Chance". Award-winning comedian James Corden plays Paul alongside co-stars Julie Walters and Mackenzie Crook. The film had its world premiere at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival receiving a standing ovation and was released in the UK on October 25th 2013, with global releases following.

Alongside the film, Paul released his Greatest Hits in the UK in late 2013 with other territories to follow later this year.

As well as all of this, Paul's autobiography, "Once Chance: A Memoir" is currently being released around the globe.

He has also returned to the studio to record his as-yet untitled fourth studio album, which is due for a release later in 2014.
