May 2013

We all know that The Great Gatsby will be coming to theaters this month. But there are a number of other films releasing in May that you may want to check out, including Iron Man 3, The Iceman, Epic and Shadow Dancer. If you want to stay inside and need some options for TV viewing, try Behind the Candelabra, which premieres May 26th on HBO, or pop in a DVD of Jack Reacher, Safe Haven, or Cloud Atlas.

Inspired by actual events, the film follows notorious contract killer Richard Kuklinski from his early days working for the mob through his arrest for the murder of over 100 men. Appearing to be living the American dream as a devoted husband and father; Kuklinski was also a ruthless killer-for-hire and when he was finally arrested in 1986, neither his wife nor daughters have any clue about his real profession.

With her son’s life in her hands, Collette chooses to place her trust in the MI5 and return home. When her brothers’ secret operation is ambushed, suspicions of an informant are raised and Collette finds both herself and her family in grave danger.
