The Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2019

The longlist, or "Booker Dozen," for the 2019 Booker Prize has been announced. The list was chosen from 151 novels published in the UK or Ireland between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019. The Booker Prize for Fiction, first awarded in 1969, is open to writers of any nationality, writing in English and published in the UK or Ireland. The shortlist of six books will be announced on September 3rd, followed by the announcement of the winner on October 14th at an awards ceremony at London’s Guildhall.
