I have only listened to one children's book that my son received as a gift. Something about "Blue's Clues."
I think that "audiobook" is an oxymoron.

Clifton Wade
I don't listen to audiobooks.

SqueakyChu
THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE by Audrey Niffenegger

Jackie Houchin
Jody Picoult's NINETEEN MINUTES, a very timely story about a campus shooting. The investigation, the trial, and the outcome were all intense and heartbreaking. The reader was talented and easy to listen to.

Helen MacAskill
The King of Lies

Rosalie Leon
Girl with a Pearl Earing

Sandi L.
TEARS OF A GIRAFFE by Alexander McCall Smith
I can listen to his books as it is not necessary to remember all the details, like with other mysteries. I also will read the next book --- I love the the reader.

Peggy Kincaid
THE DIANA CHRONICLES by Tina Brown

Jane Haase
I am currently listening to THE GREATEST STORY EVER SOLD by Frank Rich and enjoying it immensely. I listen to audiobooks only when walking, working out in the gym, or driving on long trips. This one I've actually listened to while raking leaves as I find it extremely interesting.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Patti D.
CAGE OF STARS by Jacquelyn Mitchard

I can't remember, as having done machine transcription for over 30 years, earphone sounds just go in one ear and out the other, then come out via the fingers on the keyboard. After all those years, the mind just wanders even though the fingers do the right thing!

Patti
I've never read an audiobook.

A Girl Named Zippy

Karla C
TRAVELS WITH CHARLEY by John Steinbeck

I've never listened to an audiobook.

I am currently listening to THE GOD DELUSION by Richard Dawkins. I'm also listening to WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN by Lionel Shriver, when I get the time. The last audiobook I finished was THE INNOCENT MAN by John Grisham, which made me want to drive to Ada, OK and slap all the people involved in those disgustingly handled murder cases.

Kay
the Last Summer (of You and Me)

Tom Joseph
SHOOT HIM IF HE RUNS by Stuart Woods

Kathryn McNamara
I have never listened to an audiobook.

Kim Kovacs
THE SANCTUARY by Raymond Khoury --- This was one of the worst audiobooks I think I've ever "read." I'm not sure if it didn't translate well, or if it's just a really dull read, but I hated it. I've listed to over 200 audio books over the past few years, and this was, without a doubt, one of the least pleasurable experiences I've had.

Jeannette Howard
DRY by Augusten Burroughs

Gene Hill
EVERYBODY DIES by Lawrence Block
TIN ROOF SHOWDOWN by James Lee Burke

Miriam
I've never given audiobooks a chance to engage my interest. I may well like them, but my mind flies really quickly and jumps around so I've assumed that that form of book would not hold my attention. I never was one to be much on lectures either and was more the book student. I read exceptionally fast. Thus, my roundabout answer to the question is I've never listened to an audio book.

Linda Fedchuk
The Hound of the Baskervilles

Laura Johnson
ORCHID BLUES by Stuart Woods

Lynn Ketelsen
PETER PAN by J. M. Barrie

Deb
A WALK IN THE WOODS by Bill Bryson.
I might even say that this book is better in audio than in print --- it's very funny and Bryson's timing is perfect.

Trish Thomas
I haven't listened to any, but I have heard the Harry Potterreader is good, and I might go for them instead of rereading them.

Linda Lizzio
Harry Potter

Krishna
THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE HOLY SHROUD by Julia Navarro

I have never listened to an audiobook. They just never intrigued me. I just love the power of knowing how to read. However, it is something I may look into in the future.

Angie
THE MEMORY KEEPER'S DAUGHTER --- This reaffirmed my belief that I do not really like audio books. I have tried them a few times and I much prefer the visual experience of the written words.

I used listen to the ones put out by Golden Books when I was little. It really helped when I was learning how to read. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I think I would do a lot more of it if I started buying them on audio as well as text, so I could listen and read at the same time.
