What other mystery authors do you usually read?
No one special --- if a book sounds good, I will read it. I like Cornwell and Reichs.

What did you think of UNDONE?
I thought it was awesome. It left me wanting more, and if there is another one with these characters, I will buy it and read it. I loved the character interplay and the mystery was good, though I figured out the "killer" quite early on. I didn't expect it but I loved the way she wrote the book.

Would you ever read a future book by Karin Slaughter?
Oh yes.

What did you think of UNDONE?
I don't usually like to read series that have characters from other books unless I've read the previous installments, but the author seemed to do a good job of supplying enough background information on them. I thought the torture that was done to the victims was a bit gory.

Would you ever read a future book by Karin Slaughter?
I would probably read the next book after UNDONE because there are still unanswered questions at the end of the book.

What did you think of UINDONE?
I did like it --- though it got a bit slow in the middle, but picked soon. The medical part was very interesting. I liked the relationships of the the characters, especially Will and Faith, and also the victims and the "bad guy." I would have liked to read more about the bad guy's family. I do like Will Trent!

I have not read a Karin Slaughter book before. UNDONE is the first book I've read by her.

What other mystery authors do you usually read?
I have read many suspense/thriller novels (they are my favorite genre). Among my personal favorites are: Harlan Coben, Joseph Finder, James Grippando, Linwood Barclay, Sandra Brown, Lisa Gardner, Meg Gardiner, David Baldacci, Brad Meltzer, Michael Connelly... (just to name a few).

What did you think of UNDONE?
I thought UNDONE was a very good read. I couldn't put it down. The characters in the story were compelling and believable. They seemed down to earth, each with their own private, personal defects. I found myself sympathizing with some of them --- from the down-to-earth, honest-Joe and cop Will Trent, who had trouble reading, to the brave and frail widow Sara Linton (I could almost feel her pain at her loss). It seemed that these two were destined to hook up; in fact, I found myself rooting for them both, only to be surprised in the end. That was a nice, little (but definitely believable) twist.

Every once in a while, you take a chance on a "new" author whom you have never read before. Sometimes you get disappointed; other times, you're pleasantly surprised, making you wonder, "why have I not read this author before?" This was definitely a pleasant surprise. I plan on going to my book swapping sites to order her previous novels.

Would you ever read a future book by Karin Slaughter?
I will definitely read a future book by Karin. In fact, I'm I member of a book-swapping site online. I have ordered all of her previous books.

What did you think of UNDONE?
I really was captivated by the UNDONE plot even though I knew the suspect early on. The suspense remained and I have always liked Sara Linton and, sadly, Jeffrey.

Would you ever read a future book by Karin Slaughter?
I will read Karin Slaughter again.

What did you think of UINDONE?
I loved the book. I read it in five days. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and it was not until close to the end that I realized who the bad guy was. The author did a great job tying everything together and keeping my interest. I felt like I was reading a script from a "Criminal Minds" episode. I would rate this book five stars.

Would you ever read a future book by Karin Slaughter?
I will definitely read more of her books. In fact, I picked up FAITHLESS and am looking forward to reading it soon.
