Here are comments from our group of Advance Readers about Kevin Wignall's PEOPLE DIE.

Barbara from St. Augustine, FL

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
No.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Clive Cussler, P. D. James and P. C. Doherty.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
It was interesting having the assassin be the good guy. I got very caught up in the novel by the first page.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
Yes.

Jackie from Omaha, NE

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
This is the first book I've read by Kevin Wignall, and after this great read, I hope there are several more books waiting for me to tackle.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I just finished the latest Harlan Coben and Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child novels and can't wait to pick up the new one by Michael Connelly.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
It was a great fast-paced read. You don't really like this hit man at first, but he quickly grows on you.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
I definitely plan on reading the whole library of Mr. Wignall's books.

Toni from Nashville, TN

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
I have not read Kevin Wignall previously.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I read a little of all genres, but my favorites are action adventure novels and thrillers. My favorites are Robert Ludlum, Daniel Silva and Dean Koontz. I also enjoy the books of John Connolly.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
I found the book to be very entertaining and of the "I can't put it down" variety. The action of the novel is intense; the insight into the mind of a killer was very interesting. One always wonders what is going through the mind of a person capable of cold-blooded murder. This book presents a pretty interesting explanation for that.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
I will read more of Kevin Wignall this summer, probably starting with WHO IS CONRAD HIRST.

Reva from Yuma, AZ

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
No.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Dan Brown, Steve Berry, Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz and Iris Johannsen.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
It was different from the books I usually read. It was interesting in that it showed the mind of a hired killer. But, it's not a book I would have normally read.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
I might.

Mary from Claremont, CA

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
This is the first book that I have read by Kevin Wignall. I read books by many diverse authors, on many subjects, but the "thriller" genre includes works by Jon Land, Clive Cussler, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Brad Meltzer and Raymond Khoury, among others.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
I enjoyed some of PEOPLE DIE, especially the inner turmoil going on in JJ's life as he has to deal with the personal side of his business. It was a very fast-paced book, and a very easy read. However, I was never quite clear on who some of the other characters were --- good guys, bad guys, government people. And I would have enjoyed more exploration into the world of Russian iconography and stolen artifacts. I got the feeling that this book was written as a "quick fix" rather than an in-depth thriller with some history and knowledge behind it. And I have to be perfectly honest and admit that I found the ending to be quite unrealistic and absurd.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
I may give Mr. Wignall another chance and read another book; I suppose not every book an author writes can be outstanding. But, I don't think I'll go out of my way to look.

Michele from Huntington, NY

Have you previously read a book by Kevin Wignall?
No.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I do not usually read suspense/thrillers. I like Ludlum and have read the Bourne books multiple times.

What did you think of PEOPLE DIE?
Not bad. I found the story a little hard to follow, at first. Even at the end I was a little confused.

Would you ever read a future book by Kevin Wignall?
I am not sure.
