  • Lisa received a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1976. She completed her degree in three years and graduated magna cum laude.
  • Lisa graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1981, where she served as an Associate Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
  • LOOK AGAIN is Lisa’s sixteenth novel. Her first novel, EVERYWHERE THAT MARY WENT, was published in 1994.
  • Lisa currently has twenty five million copies of her books in print in the United States and she is published in 25 countries.
  • Lisa's books have landed on all the major bestseller lists, including The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Publisher's Weekly, Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times.
  • Lisa was the recipient of the Edgar Award, the Mystery Writers of America’s most prestigious honor; the Fun, Fearless, Fiction Award by Cosmopolitan Magazine; and was named a PW Innovator by Publisher's Weekly. In addition, she has been honored with a Distinguished Author Award from Scranton University and a "Paving the Way" award from the University of Pennsylvania, Women in Business.
  • In addition to penning novels, Lisa also writes a column for the Philadelphia Inquirer titled "Chick Wit," which is her witty and fun take on life from a woman's perspective.
  • In her spare time, Lisa teaches a course she developed, "Justice and Fiction" at The University of Pennsylvania Law School.
