Yes, I have read books by Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush.
What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
For romantic suspense books I like those written by Christina Dodd, Lora Leigh and JoAnn Ross.
What did you think of WICKED GAME?
I enjoyed WICKED GAME because it was written so that I had to keep reading to see what would happen next. It was a story of suspense, great dialogue between the characters and a believable storyline.
Would you ever read a future book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
I like Lisa's stories and have read her books since she was a historical romance writer. I have read all of her books and will continue to read the next ones.
I am glad she teamed up with Nancy Bush since I think the story has even more impact.

Susan from St. Louis, MO
Have you previously read a book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
I have read ABSOLUTE FEAR by Lisa Jackson. I actually preferred that book to this one.
What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
I read Nora Roberts (doesn't everyone?), Linda Howard, Kay Hooper, Barbara Delinsky and Dee Henderson. I generally read a lot of books that are heavier on the mystery and have a little romance included.
What did you think of WICKED GAME?
While the book was very smoothly written, I did have a little bit of a hard time getting into the first few chapters, which I thought were a bit wordy. The main characters also did not really grab me as quickly as I would have liked, and I feel they could have been developed more fully.
Both leads were likeable but not truly compelling --- maybe Becca could have been a bit more sorrowful over losing her baby, perhaps Hudson could have shown more grief over losing his sister.
I also thought the Siren Song cult should have been introduced a little bit earlier in the book. It felt a bit like it came out of the blue to provide a murderer and I prefer to have clues throughout so the denouement is something the reader could have considered beforehand.
Would you ever read a future book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
Yes, these ladies know how to tell a story and if the plot blurb sounds interesting, I would check it out.
WICKED GAME seemed to me as if it could be the start of a longer saga about the Siren cult and perhaps Becca herself. I see in your final notes that you both plan to include the colony in future books so I will probably check those out.
JoAnn from Pittsburgh, PA
Have you previously read a book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
I've never read a book by either Lisa Jackson or Nancy Bush.
What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
I have read Brenda Novak and enjoyed her writing.
What did you think of WICKED GAME?
The suspense in this book never quite got a hold on me. There were manufactured cliff hangers (people found alive after a murder attempt, then never surviving the trip to the hospital). The villain's relationship to the plot was very confusing and even at the end I could not figure out who exactly he was. Do I see another book continuing the story? Certainly. My assumption (and my hope ) is that each of these authors might be better writers individually in their own genre. Lisa Jackson, especially, seems tremendously prolific. This book though did seem to be written by a committee. It undoubtedly was not my best introduction to either of them.
Would you ever read a future book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
I probably wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Roger from Erie, PA
Have you previously read a book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
No.
What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
I've read Nora Roberts a couple of times, but I usually don't ready romantic suspense.
What did you think of WICKED GAME?
It had a really good story but it took a long time to get into it. The first several chapters were very slow reading and if I wasn't going to do a review I wouldn't have finished it.
Would you ever read a future book by Lisa Jackson and/or Nancy Bush?
I would probably start one and, if it was interesting from the beginning, I would read it.
