What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I am a huge fan of the thriller genre. This book did not disappoint me. From the very beginning, Britton draws you into the story. I liked the fact that he gives background to his characters from his previous works. Also, he guides the reader to this new adventure and walks him to the gate, daring the reader to turn the next page, or chapter, and join in this adventurous journey. To all who dare read it, be warned! You might be afraid to turn the page.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Now that I have completed this, I would like to read his previous works. I would read any subsequent novel as well. I am sure they will be as exciting as THE INVISIBLE. I like to read more than one of an author's books to get a feel for his style of writing and character development.

No.
What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I don’t have a favorite; I’ve read John Grisham, James Patterson, Tom Clancy, Dan Brown, Joseph Finder and Steve Berry, to name a few.
What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
It was fast paced and kept me interested. His description of world events, blending factual occurrences and people with fictional ones, was well done. One tiny issue I had is not having the background from the prior two books in this series. Since I had not read them, I felt I was missing some of the history and motivation between the repeat characters, which I would have liked to better understand.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Yes.

What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I really enjoyed it. With all that is in the news lately of the Middle East and terrorism, this book was very relevant. The characters were easy to believe in and care about. The plot was very fast paced. It was one of those books that you want to just read straight through in one sitting. A great book!

Robin from Fayette, MO

What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
It was kind of hard for me to "get into" at first, but I started liking it and couldn't put it down after the first several chapters.
I'm a stickler about reading books in order. I didn't know his other books were also about Ryan Kealey --- I'd like to have read them first. I think then I would've been more into the characters from the beginning.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Yes, I wouldn't mind going back and reading the first books.
Aaron from Waldo, WI
Have you previously read a book by Andrew Britton?
Yes, I have read his first two novels.
What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
My favorite authors are, in the following order: Daniel Silva, Vince Flynn, James Rollins, and Brad Thor. Andrew reminds me a lot of Vince Flynn, and Ryan Kealey of Mitch Rapp. I also like Brain Haig, Joel C. Rosenberg, Jeffrey Archer, David Ignatius, Joseph Finder, Barry Eisler, Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child and Lee Child.
What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I wasn't as impressed with this novel as I was with the first two. I felt the time spent in Pakistan was too short compared to the rest of the book. The Naomi Kharmai angle just didn't pan out for me. It seemed obvious that this was all setup for an upcoming novel in which she will be found again and featured, but in this particular story, it became a bit redundant. I still greatly enjoyed the book and will continue to read Andrew's upcoming novels.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Most definitely.
Dory from Creston, OH
Have you previously read a book by Andrew Britton?
I enjoy Tom Clancy, John Le Carré, Ken Follett, Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum, Eric Van Lustbader, David Patterson, Richard North Patterson, and Lawrence Sanders.
What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I was comfortable with the author’s predictable style. The research of recent international events and persons was well blended with the author’s creativity.
THE INVISIBLE moves at a respectable pace, fueled by the suspense in the first half of the book. I had no problem suspending belief with the concept or with Britton’s execution of it in general.
The supporting cast get my vote for the most well-developed and memorable characters.
However, after Naomi’s first appearance in this third installment of a series, I was left with two opinions of her character: depressive and harsh. Britton doesn’t expand on her profile until after page 240, where she gets depth --- in a hurry.
Not having read the first two books in the series, Ryan Kealy didn’t turn my crank nor did the plethora of references to his and Naomi’s previous relationship.
I found there were too many sloppy loose ends. In a thriller, I expect them; but in this case, they needed some acknowledgement or tie up.
Readers might judge areas as non-essential or having an overload of information. I found myself using an editorial eye scan to pull out pertinent information to maintain what I thought be an acceptable pace on my way to the conclusion through the last one-hundred-fifty pages.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Andrew Britton has writing talents that turn me green with envy.
I would be interested in future tomes, considering that many authors hone their craft with each successive book, and better substantive editing is made available.
Ricki from Wildwood, MO

No.
What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I read Peter Robinson, Michael Gruber and Michele Martinez.
What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I had a really hard time getting into it. I would find myself having to reread pages because I kept missing information. It was a little too political for me.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
No.
Shannon from Waterloo, IA
Have you previously read a book by Andrew Britton?
No, I haven't.
What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Some of my favorites include Cody McFadyen, Jack Kerley, J. A. Konrath, and P. J. Tracy.
What did you think of THE INVISIBLE?
I thought it was very well written, with nice use of language. However, I didn't care for the jumping around from foreign location to foreign location, and I had a hard time keeping track of the multitude of characters in this book. It may also have been a problem that I did not read the first two installments of this series. Some serials work fine alone but I have a feeling that THE ASSASSIN and THE AMERICAN have an important back story to Ryan Kealey to which I was not privy.
Would you ever read a future book by Andrew Britton?
Probably not. I don’t find his writing deserving because, as I mentioned before, the book was very well written. The subject matter and the style of book just aren’t for me.
