Yes, I have read Raymond Khoury's previous novel, THE LAST TEMPLAR.
What other suspense/thriller authors do you read?
I don't usually read suspense/thriller novels. My favorite genre is
historical fiction.
What did you think of THE SANCTUARY?
For the most part, I enjoyed reading THE SANCTUARY.I'm usually not a
fan of books written in the flashback style;I find them a bit
confusing. However, as this book drew to a close, all the loose
fragments tied in together.
I was disappointed, after all the suspense, to finally learn the big
secret --- it just doesn't sound plausible that such a valuable
discovery, found several hundred years ago, could have been kept a
secret for so long. Human nature just doesn't work this way. The plot
got a bit bogged down in the middle of the book. It seemed like it took
a long time for all the story lines to converge. I also felt the ending
was rushed.
These things being said, I enjoyed reading the book and would recommend
it to others who enjoy historical or suspense/thriller fiction.
Would you ever read a future book by Raymond Khoury?
I look forward to his next work.

What did you think of THE SANCTUARY?
I loved it! It was a thrilling novel full surprising twists and turns. The research Khoury did for the story was amazing! That alone was a story in itself. I had a hard time putting the book down because it was so thrilling and suspenseful that I couldn't wait to see what happened next! I was up until 3:00 am last night finishing the book. I was rather shocked by the surprising ending.

Yes, I read THE LAST TEMPLAR. I liked THE SANCTUARY better.
What did you think of THE SANCTUARY?
My main complaint is that I am getting tired of the recent trend toward
books with conspiracy theories, historical Catholic Church and current
Vatican cover-ups, and Islamic terrorists. I was enthralled with THE
DA VINCI CODE, but the theme is growing stale.I believe I need
toextend my reading horizons.

What did you think of THE SANCTUARY?
This one dragged a bit and started slowly. It didn't grab my attention;
the story setup seems formulaic for the first 100 or so pages, and I've
put the book down for a while and to entertain myself with a different
book.
