Robert Dugoni
Fast Facts:
- Robert is the middle child of a family of ten children. He has five brothers and four sisters.
- Robert graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a degree in journalism, and obtained a doctorate of jusiprudence from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law.
- Before enrolling in Law School at UCLA, Robert worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times.
- Robert practiced as a civil litigator in San Francisco and Seattle for seventeen years before he returned to writing in 1999. In the interim, he satisfied his artistic thirst by studying acting and performing in stage productions throughout the San Francisco Bay area. One of the highlights of his acting "career" was playing the role of Arthur in Camelot.
- Robert's first book, THE CYANIDE CANARY, is a work of nonfiction that was co-written with Joseph Hilldorfer, one of the EPA agents involved in the events upon which the book is based.
- Robert's second book and debut work of fiction, THE JURY MASTER, was intended to be a stand-alone novel, but he now plans on bringing back the protagonist and other characters in future works.
- Some of Robert's favorite authors are Stephen King, Steven Hunter, Larry McMurtry, Nelson DeMille, David Baldacci, Scott Turow, Stephen White, John Lescroart, Tess Gerritsen, Dean Koontz, Pat Conroy and J. K. Rowling.
- Currently, Robert lives with his wife and two children in the Pacific Northwest.
