DIALOGUES was the first book by Stephen J. Spignesi that I've read.
What did you think of DIALOGUES?
I was mesmerized from page one by the characters and dialogue. [It is written in] a wonderful format, building towards the wonderful ending. The novella within the book gave away the ending for me, but I still enjoyed it. Thanks for introducing me to fantastic new writer!

What did you think of DIALOGUES?
I enjoyed this book immensely. My favorite type of book is one written with a lot of dialogue, so DIALOGUES was perfect for me. I received the book even before you let me know that I had won. I was so excited. I read it in two days. I loved the way it was written, and Stephen J. Spignesi's style is easy to read. My daughter worked at an animal shelter and a vet's office. and is now on the Board of Young At Heart Pet Rescue; I volunteer for them as well, so the book's subject matter was appropriate for me. I love the ending. Thank you so much for sending me this advance copy. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Oh, so many! Robert Crais, Robert B. Parker, Jeffery Deaver, Jonathan Kellerman, Jack Kerley, Dennis Lehane, Lee Child and Ruth Rendell/Barbara Vine, etc.

I thought the concept of using only dialogue was interesting, but I did have some trouble staying with the story. The characters felt lacking to me.

I would certainly try another novel of his if he changed the format.

Joanne Fluke, Lori Handeland, Rosemary Martin, Yasmine Galenorn, Julie Kenner and Charlaine Harris to name a few.
What did you think of DIALOGUES?
[It was an] interesting book, but I am not sure I would classify it as a suspense novel. I liked the dialogues with the attorney, mother and other characters. I liked the plot with Tory putting herself on trial for murder in her mind to deal with her role as an animal euthanasia technician. She wants to do something good for the animals, but later cannot deal with the aftermath. Interesting twist, but not suspenseful enough for me.
