Here are comments from our group of Advance Readers about Robert Dugoni's THE JURY MASTER.

Andrea from Clearfield, UT

What suspense/thriller authors do you read?
James Patterson, Stephen King, Stephen White and Jonathan Kellerman.

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
It was an incredibly fast-paced book. I lost sleep staying up reading it! It was so unpredictable --- full of twists and turns. I can't believe that this is his first [novel].

Would you ever read a future book by Robert Dugoni?
Definitely!

Ed from Orlando, FL

What suspense/thriller authors do you read?
Suspense/thriller authors I have just read: Barbara Parker (SUSPICION OF DECEIT); James Patterson (LIFEGUARD); John Grisham (THE KING OF TORTS); Janet Evanovich (TEN BIG ONES) and Douglas Kennedy (THE BIG PICTURE).

Other suspense/thriller authors I have enjoyed: T. Jefferson Parker, Randy Wayne White, David Poyer, Dorothy Uhnak, Carol O'Connell, Patricia Cornwell, Lawrence Sanders, Elmore Leonard, Tim Dorsey, S. V. Date, Joseph Wambaugh and more.

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
Robert Dugoni certainly knows how to write a cliffhanger. The novel is designed to keep you reading --- and it does. The characters are well-defined and three dimensional, likable, hate-able and, regularly, in extreme danger. It's a good read.

Would you ever read a future book by Robert Dugoni?
Yes. He has the ability to write a truly great thriller. Maybe next time.

John from Austin, TX

What suspense/thriller authors do you read?
There are a lot of them, but some of them are: Jeff Abbott, David Baldacci, Steve Berry, Dale Brown, James Lee Burke, Lee Child, John Connolly, Harold Coyle, Robert Crais, Randy Lee Eickhoff, Barry Eisler, Vince Flynn, Neil Gaiman, Tim Green, Brian Haig, Carl Hiaasen, Stephen Hunter, Gregg Hurwitz, Greg Iles, Stephen King --- and the list goes on.

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
This was a very well-written novel and I enjoyed reading it a lot, more so than an author's usual first book. And, if it hadn't been entertaining, I couldn't have finished it over a weekend. The book develops very nicely and flows well, and while it has a sort of complicated plot involving a large cast, it ties up all the loose ends by the conclusion of the book. My only "complaint" is that the plot device isn't quite believable from the beginning and isn't believable when explained at the end. As mentioned, Mr. Dugoni introduced a lot of characters. He does a very good job of developing some of them, but there were too many to do all of them well.

Would you read a future book by Robert Dugoni?
For sure, especially since there always seems to be a big jump between a writer's first and second book. Since this one was pretty good, good enough to recommend to others, his follow-up novels should be even more enjoyable to read.

Mildred from Great Neck, NY

What suspense/thriller authors do you read?
To name a few of the authors I enjoy reading: the Kellermans, DeMille, Gerritsen and Hoag.

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
When I received Robert Dugoni's book THE JURY MASTER, I thought another lawyer story. Was I ever wrong. This book has more twists and turns than Lombardo Street in San Francisco. The plot keeps you guessing and the characters are intriguing.

Robert Dugoni goes on my list of must read authors and, if you like thrillers, he should be on your list.

Thank you for sending me this book. I really enjoyed it.

Patricia from Goose Creek, SC

What suspense/thriller authors do you read?
I read all the popular ones: Robert Parker, Stuart Woods and the like.

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
This was an excellent book. I loved how you never really knew who the bad guy was.

Would you ever read a future book by Robert Dugoni?
I would hopefully read all of his future books.

Carmelita from Bluefield, WV

What did you think of THE JURY MASTER?
THE JURY MASTER is masterful and a worthy entry into the mystery genre. The point-of-view changes help the reader to understand the individual characters and advance the plot. Having said that, there really is nothing new or innovative about this book. Mystery readers will not care about that, because it is a great read.
