Me, Myself, & I Am: A Unique Question and Answer Book: The Story of You and God

You may be one of those people who, like me, have procrastinated about journaling. Or perhaps you get a severe case of writer’s block when you stare at a blank page. This guide will lead you into some very interesting areas of your life, your emotions, your joys and your sorrows. With probing questions and thought-provoking suggestions, the authors have provided a simple way to get started on journaling that negates all excuses.

Whether you start at the very beginning with “The Real Me Right Now” or open to the section that leads you to reminisce about “The Way We Were,” your pen will be scribbling away before you know it. If you have difficulty expressing your beliefs, there are several excellent sections that not only help you to focus on your spiritual side but also to formulate ideas that you can share with friends who may not understand your faith.

There are imaginative sections that provide opportunities to explore your creative side, even if you don’t think you have one. “Plot Lines” and “Picture This” will get you thinking and writing about areas of your life that you may not have ever sat down and thought through. If your life was a movie, would it be a war story or a comic book? Would it be a fantasy or a soap opera? And why?

Are there things that you feel annoyed about but have no one to share those feelings with? Maybe you have some resentments that you know you need to let go of but have not been able to express them to anyone. Flip to the sections on “I Must Confess” and “Best and Worst Friends” and get it off your chest. You’ll feel a lot better once you’ve “verbalized” your feelings.

If I weren’t such a procrastinator, I would’ve written this book five years ago. I had been noodling it since I bought several copies of ALL ABOUT ME back in 1998 and started thinking about doing a Christian version of the popular journaling guide. However, I’m glad that someone picked up the idea and followed through on it. ME, MYSELF, & I AM will make a wonderful Christmas gift and a challenging invitation to examine your own relationship with the great I AM.
