This is a great book for thriller fans. Former reporter Jack McEvoy is drawn back into the newspaper business when his brother dies. Jack is the only one convinced it wasn't a suicide and he'll go to just about any lengths to prove it. The book gets its title from the killer's Edgar Allen Poe quotes left as "calling cards" at the scene. The Poet's victims are homicide cops who were each haunted by an unsolved homicide... almost all of which involved a child. This was definitely a page-turner for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
