What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
If you need a good book for a wintery weekend or even the beach, AUTUMN BLUE is for you. This is a good read with believable characters, good plot, and a great ending. I will definitely recommend it to my book discussion group for a summer selection. I couldn't put it down.

What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
I liked it so much, I couldn't put it down and read it in two days. Also, I didn't really understand how old everyone was.

What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
I enjoyed it and felt that it was a relaxing afternoon read. I liked watching the relationship between the teenage boy and the older man develop. I also appreciated the humor of the writer.
Would you read a future book by Karen Harter?
Yes, I probably would. My sister-in-law saw the book on my table last weekend and said she thought it looked like something she would like as well. In fact, I think my mother would enjoy it also, so I guess there will be future Karen Harter readers in the rest of my family too.

I thought AUTUMN BLUE was a great read. I loved all the characters!

What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
I loved it! It was a very exciting and heartwarming story. Sidney is a single mother trying to raise three kids on her own. Her son ends up getting into trouble with the law and runs away. He shows up later, ends up going to court, and winds up with probation instead of hard time in the clinker. The old neighbor who lives across the way from Sidney and her kids does the unthinkable. The ending really surprised me. I was holding back the tears. This book should be made into a movie. I loved it!

Wow! Anything and everything! Some favorites: John Steinbeck, Michael Cunningham, Pearl S. Buck, Jodi Picoult and Anita Shreve. The list goes on and on!
What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
I enjoyed it overall. I thought the writing was warm, but occasionally somewhat disjointed (this was just a vague feeling I had a couple of times throughout the book). I liked the storyline; it was not one I have encountered before. I thought it was great!!

No, this was the first book of Karen's that I've read.
What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
I enjoy the book very much. I looked forward to reading it each day when I could. The only part of the book that [disappointed me] was after Bradbury found and saved Tyler...the next chapter jumped to two days later. I would have liked to see the interaction between Bradbury, Tyler, and Sidney when they arrive back at Sidney's house during the middle of the night. Otherwise, an excellent storyline.

I read a lot of fiction, mostly contemporary authors and some classics. My favorite author is John Irving. I also like Ron Rash and Barbara Kingsolver.
What did you think of AUTUMN BLUE?
It was okay. It didn't hold my interest all that much. My favorite character was Millard. I thought the questions in the back were good, and I tried to answer them as I was reading. I would not recommend this book to my book group because I don't think there is much to discuss.

Maybe.
