QUESTIONS FROM READERS

Casey from Norfolk, VA: Will there be any future books in the Otherworld series, perhaps featuring Paige and Lucas?

Kelley Armstrong: I'm currently contracted through book 10, so there will be at least four more. While Paige and Lucas won't narrate the next couple, I haven't ruled them out for #9 or #10. I have more stories for them... it's just a matter of fitting them into the schedule! They will make appearances in the next two, though. Oh, and they are the focus of my 2006 online novella (at www.KelleyArmstrong.com), with Lucas narrating.

Linda from Elizabeth, NJ: Before beginning to write, was there a certain author that you had read? If yes, did this author inspire you to start writing?

Kelley Armstrong: To be honest, I couldn't tell you who I read before I began to write. I've been writing since I was very young, so I would say that all the authors I read up to that point inspired me to write. I loved reading, and wanted to tell stories myself.

Janelle from Waterloo, Ontario: Do you plan to write a book centered around Zoe Takano?

Kelley Armstrong: No narration plans for Zoe at the moment, but I do want to keep her around at least as a semi-regular series character. She was originally slated to only have a walk-on part in BROKEN, but I had a lot of fun creating her, so I expanded her role with plans to let her stick around in the series.
