| We Keep Growing and Growing.... |
| Judging by last week's mail it was a great idea for us to share the Coming Attractions and Author Bibliography features with you. Both are getting rave reviews from readers, who are telling us that just when they think we have thought of everything, we come up with something new. Of course, that puts some pressure on us going forward, but we love a challenge.
The other big news this week is that the number of visitors on Bookreporter.com rose again last month --- we had over 122,000 unique visitors stopping by the website. From the mail we are seeing a lot of new readers on board, which is wonderful.
A couple of years ago when Tyndale House decided to publish the Left Behind Series, no one could have predicted that the 11th title in the series ARMAGEDDON would hit stores just as America was at war. The book is out Tuesday, and for those of you who have been following the story, we have an excerpt for you here. Click on the link below. Many of you know I found this series on about book eight and played catch-up when I was trying to figure out WHAT these books were that ritually captured the top slot on the bestseller lists and hung there.
As you know, we often like to have a group of readers take a look at titles instead of just one. The title we are doing this with this week is EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED, a book that has just been issued in paperback with ten, yes, ten different neon covers. Here is what one of our reviewers had to say..."Warning: The reading of this book may cause intense desire to join a book group and discuss --- gasp --- actual themes." Be warned.
Lots to read this week...so keep on going, but read fast. The clocks turn forward this week meaning we lose one precious hour of reading time!
