Reader Mail

This week sure flew by with the holiday and then the snow. It was a three-book storm!

Something I rarely talk about is the reader mail that we get. I really enjoy hearing from our readers and welcome your suggestions. One of our readers gave us the idea for our poll question this week. Heringbess@aol.com wrote to say that she has been in several book clubs (for 35 years!) and is a very active reader. She never laughs out loud when she reads so she is surprised to hear that people think a book is funny and laugh out loud! So we are asking....

Do you ever laugh out loud when you're reading a book?

All the time
Some of the time
Sometimes I crack a smile
Never

And keeping our humor theme, our question is about what book or author makes you laugh out loud?

Lots to share this week including the exciting news that our February Suspense/Thriller author, Stephen White, hit The New York Times bestseller list at number 8 with THE BEST REVENGE. We loved seeing that! And PATTERN RECOGNITION by William Gibson is at number 4. Love seeing other readers finding authors that we love like this.

So....keep those notes coming.

SMALL TOWN by Lawrence Block
Along with being the author of dozens of acclaimed novels, Lawrence Block is also a devout New Yorker who absolutely adores his city. He has now written a compelling thriller about one man's shocking response to the World Trade Center tragedy.
