| Reading the Movie/ Watching the Book... |

| A couple of weeks ago my older son and I went to see CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. (I confess that till I got to the theatre I knew nothing of what the movie was about, nor that it was based on a book!) I found myself wishing that I had read the book before I saw the movie, which always is my preference. Wondered what you like to do? Answer our Poll and weigh in.
The wind has been howling around here all week and the temperatures are hovering in the single digits. My agenda for the weekend is couch, fireplace and books! Right now I am reading manuscripts for two summer releases that you will be hearing more about --- LITTLE BITTY LIES by Mary Kay Andrews, the author of one of my favorite books of last year, SAVANNAH BLUES. Also, Mark T. Sullivan has a new one THE SERPENT'S KISS, which will kick off a new series from him. Both will be out in July. Many of you have told us you want to know what books will be coming out in the next few months. Click on the link below to check out Coming Attractions.
Our suspense/thriller feature has been getting some great feedback from you. This week in addition to some extended excerpts, we are adding in comments from our advance readers. See what they had to say about SILENT PARTNER and THE BEST REVENGE --- there are over 36 reader comments to explore!
Quick observation --- we have noticed that many of you have been changing your Internet providers in the past month. If you do, please be sure to "take us along" by signing up for the newsletter in your new name!
Have a great week...stay warm wherever you are.

THE SEDUCTION OF WATER by Carol Goodman (Suspense)
Ballantine
Reviewed by Barbara Lipkien Gershenbaum and Melissa Morgan
Two reviewers take a look at this title this week. Both felt this was a wonderful second novel, which is something we love to see.
Iris Greenfeder, a struggling writer who is working three teaching jobs to support herself, is still haunted by the circumstances surrounding the death of her mother. So she decides to accept an offer that could help her find answers to her questions --- but what Iris discovers only leaves her with more disturbing questions to ponder.

| Author of the Month: Jeffrey Archer |
For over 25 years, Jeffrey Archer has captivated audiences with his intriguing characters, ingenious plots and trademark surprise endings.
