Dear Reader:
I enjoyed reading your reading resolutions for 2002. Many of you noted that you would like to read more classics. Others cited trying to increase the amount of reading you are doing while broadening your horizons exploring new authors. Yet a very different viewpoint from debbie_nance@yahoo.com was very interesting. "My New Year's book resolution? Last year I read 135 books. This year I want to read LESS books MORE carefully." I wonder how many of you feel the same way.
For those of you in book clubs, or anyone looking for more information on books and authors, be advised that our monthly update of Reading Group Guides.com is live. We've added a new feature called "Ask the Author." Each month at least one author will make him or herself available for reading groups to ask questions via email or phone. The first author to participate is Lynne Hinton, the author of Friendship Cake and The Things I Know Best. Take a look when you get a moment.
