Dear Reader:

Happy New Year! Hope that you had time to make some wonderful new memories over the holidays. Our celebrations seemed much more special this year.

We know this week usually brings all kinds of new resolutions. Our question of the week asks "What is your reading resolution?" Mine is to explore authors who I have not yet read by reading at least three books a month by authors whose work I am not familiar with. Tell us your reading resolution by sending us mail at Question@bookreporter.com.

I am sure that you all got books over the holidays. As you read them, don't forget to share what you think about them on Word of Mouth.

As promised, we are bringing you a full lineup this week to welcome the new year....

Author David Baldacci discloses fascinating details of his personal research into FBI and Hostage Rescue Team tactics for his newest thriller, LAST MAN STANDING.

James Patterson, author of VIOLETS ARE BLUE, shares some insights into the vampire culture that formed the basis for his plot in the latest Alex Cross thriller.
