A Busy Month at FaithfulReader.com!

This year has flown by. It’s hard to believe that the holiday seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost upon us! It’s time to get in some reading time before holiday preparations begin, and thus we are here with selections. Whether you have a few minutes here or there or some serious time to devote to reading, we have recommendations.

First, we have FOUR contests to tell you about, all with deadlines of Monday, November 12th at noon ET for your entries.

The first is for RIVER OF MERCY, the final book in BJ Hoff’s Riverhaven Years trilogy. Young Gideon Kanagy faces a challenge and an unexpected romance. Meanwhile, Gideon’s sister, Rachel, and the "outsider" Jeremiah Gant add to the drama with their own dilemma and its repercussions for the entire Riverhaven community. Click here to enter to win one of 75 copies of the book.

Secondly, we have 10 copies of BORDERS OF THE HEART by Chris Fabry to give away. J.D. Jessup moves from Nashville to Tucson to escape horrible memories of his past life. The farm he begins to work on has one rule: if any illegal aliens are spotted, he must call the border patrol. But when J.D. finds Maria near death and alone in the desert, he does as his heart says, not as his boss tells him. Still, no good deed goes unpunished, and J.D. and Maria soon find themselves in a fight for their lives. Did J.D. make the right choice?

In our third contest, we’re awarding 25 readers all three books in Nancy Rue’s The Reluctant Prophet series: THE RELUCTANT PROPHET, UNEXPECTED DISMOUNTS and TOO FAR TO SAY FAR ENOUGH. Allison Chamberlain has done everything that God has asked her, but in this final installment, she feels Him nudging her on to do more. Can she go the extra mile He asks for?

And in our latest monthly contest, we’re giving away all four books in Mona Hodgson’s The Sinclair Sisters of Cripple Creek series. Ten readers will win a copy of TWO BRIDES TOO MANY, TOO RICH FOR A BRIDE, THE BRIDE WORE BLUE and TWICE A BRIDE. These novels tell the stories of strong and complex women who all move from Maine to the mining town of Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Next up are our newest study guides of books that are sure to generate lots of conversation among your friends, family and book group members.

After the death of Annie Kennedy’s parents, Annie moves to Boston to live with her spinster aunt.
