  • Jacqueline Winspear's first novel, MAISIE DOBBS, was awarded the Agatha Award for Best First Novel and the Macavity Award for Best First Novel.

  • MAISIE DOBBS was one of only two debut novels nominated in the Edgar Award's Best Novel category. The novel was also named a New York Times Notable Book 2003 and a Publishers Weekly Top Ten Mystery 2003.

  • Film and General Productions in the UK has acquired Winspear's Maisie Dobbs series for possible television series adaptation.
