The winners of the 2005 Nebula Awards --- which were voted on by the members of Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America --- were announced at the Nebula Awards Banquet in Tempe, AZ on May 6, 2006.

The Nebula Awards are voted on, and presented by, active members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. Founded as the Science Fiction Writers of America in 1965 by Damon Knight, the organization began with a charter membership of 78 writers; it now has over 1,000 members, among them most of the leading writers of science fiction and fantasy.
The winners of the 2004 Nebula Awards were announced during a ceremony at the W Chicago City Center Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, on April 30, 2005.
