New England Book Awards

2008 Award Winners

The New England Independent Booksellers Association recently announced the winners of the 2008 New England Book Awards, which recognize authors and publishers who have produced a body of work that stands as a significant contribution to the region's culture. The awards --- which also include a $500 grant to a literacy or other charitable organization chosen by the winner --- will be presented on September 18, during the NEIBA annual meeting and trade show in Boston, MA.
