2001 AUDIE AWARD WINNERS

The Audio Publishers Association announced its 2001 Audie Award winners at the Art Institute of Chicago on June 1, 2001. The Audie Award --- the only fully juried award covering audiobooks --- is presented in 26 categories and honors excellence in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment. This year, over 600 audiobooks were submitted for consideration, with the finalists and winners being selected by a panel of 140 judges.
