FLESH TONES Contest

M.J. Rose's new erotic suspense thriller, FLESH TONES (on sale June 25th), focuses on the world of high art in New York City --- and what happens when murder is added to the canvas.

Thirty-eight year old Genny Haviland stands accused of drugging and suffocating her lover, artist Slade Gabriel. While the court sees Haviland's actions as murder, Genny maintains that she was helping her lover escape an illness that was physically and mentally destroying his body. During her legal battle Genny reminisces about her 20-year relationship with the artist --- a shadowy sensual union in which she was more helpless and more powerful than she would ever imagine.

In one particularly sensual scene Gabriel uses Genny's naked body as a canvas, onto which he paints a swirling, vivid expression of their shared passion. As Gabriel's paint strokes arouse he and Genny, M.J. Rose shows us how art can not only reflect sensuality, but become the epitome of it, as well. In light of this memorable scene, Bookreporter.com asks readers to answer the following question: What work of art (painting, sculpture, etc.) would you want to have painted on you and why? Describe the ideal setting for this encounter. The reader who submits the best answer will win a signed copy of FLESH TONES. Responses should be e-mailed to Contest@bookreporter.com.
