Will Michael Phelps win gold in London? Which Royals will be in attendance? Can London top the opening ceremony in Beijing in 2008? These are just some of the questions on the minds of fans everywhere as the world readies for the Summer Olympics in London.
It seems like we have been waiting for London 2012 for a lot longer than four years, but finally, the Summer Olympics have arrived! In honor of the Games, we wanted to share some Olympic-themed titles to get you pumped leading up to the opening ceremonies on July 27th.
Did you know, there are very few novels about the Olympics? Most Olympic-themed books are nonfiction, but we did find a group of 5 novels about people who dreamed big, as well as 15 nonfiction titles ranging from memoirs to biographies of athletes to a history of the Summer Olympics.
