Mary Roach is the author of PACKING FOR MARS, BONK, SPOOK and STIFF. Her writing has appeared in Outside, Wired, National Geographic and theNew York Times Magazine, among others. Her latest book, GULP: ADVENTURES ON THE ALIMENTARY CANAL was published by W. W. Norton & Company in April 2013.
