Karen Mack
Karen Mack has produced many film and television productions including the Golden Globe, Christopher and Emmy Award-winning One Against the Wind, a Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation starring Judy Davis, Sam Neill and Kate Beckinsale. In addition to winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture for Television, the film also won Best Actress for Ms. Davis. The film also won two Emmy Awards and the New York Christopher Award.
For the past eight years, she has been Executive Producer of "A Home For the Holidays," a CBS Network Special. Artists who have appeared on the show include Dustin Hoffman, Bruce Willis, Jamie Foxx, Dennis Quaid, Morgan Freeman, Rene Russo, Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow.
Her first novel, LITERACY AND LONGING IN L.A., was on the LA Times Bestseller List for 15 weeks and won the 2006 Best Fiction Award from the California Bookseller’s Association. Her second novel, A VERSION OF THE TRUTH, also for Random House was published December 2007.
Ms. Mack is a cum laude graduate of UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law.
