Philip Gourevitch is a staff writer at The New Yorker. His first book, WE
WISH TO INFORM YOU THAT TOMORROW WE WILL BE KILLED WITH OUR FAMILIES: Stories from Rwanda (FSG,
1998), won the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Los Angeles Times Book
Prize. He lives in New York City.
