Thank you for taking part in the Second Annual Bookreporter.com Reader Survey. This information will help us to better program the features and reviews on Bookreporter.com. This year we also are looking for feedback from you on how you shop and buy books. Consider this your chance to voice your opinion to book publishers, as we will be sharing these results with them. The answers and any information you give cannot be linked to you in anyway – thus ensuring you of your privacy. Please note that there are three sections to this survey. As you finish each one, you will be prompted to go to the next.

To select an answer, point your cursor (the little arrow) over the circle or square next to the answer(s) that best fits, and click - a little dot or check mark/tick will appear. All the questions in each section must be answered before can you finish that section and move on to the next. You must answer EVERY question in each section. With this in mind we have developed a possible response for EVERY question. The entire survey should take no more than 10 minutes.

At the bottom of the page at the end of the section, click 'Submit' and your answers will be recorded. After completing the survey you have the option of being entered into a drawing to receive a prize for participating in this study. Grand Prize will be a $100 Amazon gift certificate and there will be two other $25 Amazon gift certificates awarded as well. Of course, by participating you already are a winner as we will use this information to better program Bookreporter.com for you.

This section asks you how much time you spend online, about how you use the web to find books and what you think of Bookreporter.com. This is the last section of the survey. When you click ‘submit’ at the bottom of this page, you’ll arrive at a final page where you can choose to leave your email address (in order to be entered to win a gift certificate) and any additional comments you might have.

CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open only to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Bookreporter.com or The Book Report, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.

HOW TO WIN: One Grand Prize winner and two other winners each will be randomly selected from all entries by the staff of The Book Report Network. The contest opens on Tuesday, November 26th at 9AM and closes on Friday, December 13, 2002. Entries must be received by 11:59PM on Friday, December 13, 2002. The Book Report Network is not responsible for entries lost or delayed or not received for any other reason, or for errors in the entry forms or the rules. The Book Report Network reserves the right to announce the winner on Bookreporter.com. Winner also agrees that The Book Report Network can promote and publicize the winner's entry in appropriate promotion and press materials.

PRIZES: Bookreporter.com will notify the randomly selected winners. The winners will have 30 days after notification to respond for collection of the prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate. Two other winners each will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate.

HOW TO ENTER: At any time while the contest is posted on Bookreporter.com, go to the "Reader Survey" page at http://www.bookreporter.com/survey/index.asp. Once you complete the survey you will be instructed to submit your e-mail address. When we receive your e-mail, you are automatically entered into the random drawing to win. Note that this email address will not be correlated in any way with your responses to the survey.
